The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) carries on its efforts to ensure a safe, healthy, and informed media environment for children, in line with the 2023–2028 Children’s Rights Strategy Document and Action Plan.

In this regard, RTÜK invariably prioritizes the best interest of family and children while implementing effective control mechanisms with a safeguarding approach towards broadcasting and accomplishes awareness and educational activities. It strengthens the concept of child-friendly publishing in many areas by promoting family and children-themed productions, updating the Smart Signs System to disseminate parental control practices, practicing media literacy studies, informative substitution programs and public spots.
