Hasan DAVULCU, Member

Hasan Davulcu was born in Amasya in 1978. He completed his primary education in Amasya and high school education in Çorum. He graduated from Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations. He completed his master's degree in communication at Selçuk University, Department of Public Relations and Publicity with a study titled “Public Relations Activities in Political Parties and AKİM Model”.
He held important positions in various public institutions and organizations. He worked at the Justice and Development Party (AK Parti) Headquarters in the Public Relations, Publicity and Media Departments, and at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as a parliamentary advisor, where he contributed to the legislative processes. After these positions, he worked at the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) as a Supreme Council Advisor on media literacy and strategic planning. He then served as Counselor to the Minister at the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.
In 2011, with the establishment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, he started his duty as Minister Counselor in the same ministry. In the following years, he held various senior management positions within the ministry. He served as the Head of Sports Services Department, Deputy General Director of Youth Services, Deputy General Director of Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK) and Head of Guidance and Supervision.
In these roles, he carried out a wide range of responsibilities such as strategic planning, public audit, youth work, grassroots sports, social media management, press and public relations, promotional activities, digitalization of communication processes, coordination of IT and corporate communication processes. He played an active role especially in the field of youth policies and social awareness projects and developed innovative programs that contribute to the cultural and individual development of young people.
In this context, he has played an active role in all processes from the idea stage to implementation of projects that have been implemented across Turkey and have become the center of attention for students, aiming to support them in areas such as historical awareness, preservation of cultural heritage, development of communication skills, enhancement of personal competencies and digital literacy. These projects include: Radyoda Yurttan Sesler (Voices of Home on Radio), Dijital Çağın Kodları (Codes of the Digital Age), Siber Beyin (Cyber Brain), Modern Zamanın Prangaları (Shackles of Modern Time), Tiyatro Sporu (Sport of Theater), Kendine İyi Bak (Take Care of Yourself), Yaşayan Hazineler (Living Treasures) and Tecrübe Konuşuyor (Experience Speaks).
In accordance with Article 35 of the Law No. 6112 on the Establishment of Radio and Television Enterprises and their Media Services, he was elected as a Member of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) as a result of the election held by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 21.05.2025.
In the context of non-governmental organizations, he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Amasya University Foundation and a member of the General Assembly of the Ancestral Sports Foundation. Davulcu, who has a background in communication, media, youth, sports, local administrations, public administration and supervision, is married and has four children.
