We heartily celebrate the 19th of May 1919 when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk took his first step in Samsun from an old vessel to ensure the determination of the Anatolian people for starting a liberation war against the enemies invading the motherland. 19 May has been celebrated in Türkiye since the 24th of May 1935 as the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth, and Sports Day!
